The Convercent Marketing team is looking for a copywriter to bring our brand voice to life across all marketing channels. As part of our Content team, you will play a key role in telling the Convercent story throughout our sales funnel and should be ready to jump in on Day 1 with creative ideas and a strong point of view.
We’re looking for someone who can translate tech-y product language into clear, concise copy that a non-tech audience will find compelling. You thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment, but know when to pump the brakes and ask “why.” Your hobbies include cutting word counts in half. And yes, you should have an opinion about the Oxford comma.
Do you know how to write copy that drives conversions, no matter the medium? Do you have a good sense for the business objectives behind your work? Do you value clarity over cleverness (but love a good pun anyway)? We’re looking for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write compelling, conversion-focused copy for all channels, including email, web, landing pages, events, display, social, and search
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to create product-focused brochures, infographics, decks, and templates
- Collaborate with Director of Content Marketing to create and refine style guide
- Localize all copy for UK audiences
- Proofread and edit copy created by internal subject matter experts
- Project manage your work, including review cycles
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years of copywriting experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS role
- A strong portfolio with examples of persuasive, direct response copywriting
- Excellent writing skills with little to no editing required
- Ability to tap into customer mindset and advocate for their perspective
- Experience with WordPress and HubSpot
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary and variable compensation ranges provided here are just that—a range! The offer that is ultimately extended is based on level of experience, skillset, certifications and education.
- Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 base salary + variable compensation
This position includes unlimited time off, comprehensive benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), monthly tech stipend, and company-paid sabbatical at five years of service.
