Role Purpose
Bluprint is seeking a creative, dynamic and enthusiastic associate social editor to help us drive our organic social content strategy & ultimately help us reach our engagement and conversion goals.
Responsibilities

  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube
  • Curate content and create posts that will get high engagement + reach on social media
  • Develop, distribute & schedule daily social media content across platforms
  • Write engaging, voice-y social copy for all channels – strong social-specific writing ability, including the ability to translate stories into shareable social posts and headlines
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the brand’s identity, social media strategy, and social community
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams (editorial, production, marketing, creative, etc.) to build social media content + campaigns that move the needle for Bluprint brand
  • Drive & lead fully comprehensive organic Pinterest strategy
  • Scout and identify creative contributors and influencers in the social space
  • Partner with Bluprint Editorial Team to act as liaison between social + edit teams for ongoing knowledge share & project collaboration
  • Partner with Customer Service Team to educate and build robust community management + social listening program
  • Own channel management for flagship YouTube series’: Man About Cake & Midnight Quilt Show
  • Have general experience working in a social CMS (Sprinklr, Spredfast, Curalate, etc.)
  • Thinks strategically about driving metrics through engaging content
  • Stay aware and ahead of key trends, competitive insights and emerging social media

Basic Qualifications
• BS or BA degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or a relevant business field
• 1+ years as part of an editorial or social team

• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice as needed
• Must be willing to work in Denver, CO
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• Strategic thinker who drives metrics through engaging content
• Detail-orientated, hyper-organized
• Willingness & enthusiasm to learn
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Google Drive
• Knowledge in Adobe Products (i.e. Photoshop), photography, and video is a plus
• Early adopter & working knowledge of new social technologies and updates (Instagram Stories, IGTV, etc.) Great writer and editor with a modern conversational voice
• General social design skills to use brand assets to create social content (if needed)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proven time management skills with ability to prioritize assignments
• Experience working with influencers a plus
• Diligent work ethic, an eye for art/design, and an insatiable desire to learn and excel
