Scrum Master – Your Opportunity

As Scrum Master, you will be the champion of our engineering team, acting as the voice of their goals and Agile needs.

  • Manage each project’s scope and timeline
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
  • Support the product owner, provide education and best practices where needed.

Scrum Master – What You’ll Need (Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit)

  • Prior experience with Agile, and ability to implement insights and prior experiences
  • Understanding of “Lean” in a software environment
  • Understanding of how to apply Kanban
  • Prior experience in a Scrum role, as a Scrum master or Scrum leader, including deep understanding of Scrum techniques (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Flexibility – you must quickly pivot from customer need to customer need and adapt rapidly to changing assignments and priorities, communicating changing priorities to the team in a unified and culture-positive way
  • Prior experience and expertise in SaaS product/deliverable

Scrum Master – Like to Haves (Desired, Not Required)

  • Background in enterprise SaaS industry and payments industry (payment processing) / FinTech experience
  • Prior experience in a B2B product environment.
  • Scrum Master certification

Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually plus additional incentives.
