 Our company:

ThinkTank is a software platform that applies digital to transform the way leaders engage stakeholders on a shared problem or initiative. Based on 27 years of the world’s leading research into group dynamics, ThinkTank has been used to help launch astronauts safely into space, build the constitutions of countries, and create billions of dollars of value for top Fortune 500 companies.

Leaders rely on ThinkTank’s digital engagement platform to surface and channel the Truth, dramatically reducing the time and effort it takes to co-create shared, lasting solutions with broad stakeholder groups.

We are on a mission to revolutionize the consulting industry, and fundamentally transform the way elite consulting practices engage their clients, ensuring that the world’s most influential organizations achieve their highest potential.

We are a global endeavour, and we are growing. To support this growth, we are seeking extraordinary individuals to join our clients & markets division.

Our Tech:

ThinkTank’s digitial engagement platform is a microservices architecture that runs in AWS.  We do continuous integration, and we're working toward continuous testing and deployment- but we're not there yet.

We're currently building a highly scalable next-gen platform from the ground up, using new (and sometimes cutting edge) technologies- but our product ideas are based on our existing product, as well as feedback from our current customers.  We've got an existing product that's been on the market for several years that we're re-imagining and re-implementing.

You:

If you want to be part of our journey, then these statements would describe you well: You are an experienced software development leader that has successfully scaled start-up software development teams.  You like to focus on development velocity, team morale, and internal communications.  You lead by example and still enjoy coding when needed.

Requirements:

•             Minimum of 10 years of software development experience and 3+ years   leading a development team

•             Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams

•             Strong understanding of multitenant SaaS architectures

•             Experience with agile development tools and methodologies

•             Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

•             Significant experience with cloud based software, preferably AWS

 The role:

The VP of Development will help shape the future of ThinkTank’s digital engagement platform. Ideally, they will be a great manager and a great team builder.  He or she will be an excellent recruiter, a great communicator, and a great issue resolver.  The VP of Development’s job is to make everyone in the development organization successful and to fix the issues that are getting in the way of success.  The VP of Development will work closely with UX & Design, Product Management and Quality Assurance to ensure an effective and well-integrated product delivery process.
