AUTOPAY is looking for a talented,
passionate, detail-oriented User Experience Designer. The UX Designer will work
collaboratively as part of a design team to create systems and frameworks to
organize information and help users understand how AUTOPAY’s software
applications work and behave.

USER EXPERIENCE RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Use a wide range of general, industry, and site-specific
    research inputs to develop a user-centered plan for design and features.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of business and end user
    needs. Conduct stakeholder interviews to determine objectives and help
    streamline online and offline business processes.
  • Employ a variety of user research techniques to bring new
    insights into how consumers think about the online automobile purchasing and
    financing process. Work collaboratively to translate business requirements,
    user goals and creative strategy into engaging experiences.
  • Observe, conduct and analyze qualitative and quantitative
    user research, such as focus groups, interviews and surveys. Design and conduct
    user testing including prototype and post-launch evaluation. Clearly and
    concisely communicate impactful findings to clients, designers, engineers, and
    other project stakeholders.
  • Create and refine necessary documentation to develop user
    experience and provide needed deliverables to other project members, such as
    content inventories, heuristic evaluations, task analysis, CMS content models,
    user scenarios, site maps, wireframes, clickable prototypes, business and
    functional requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving UX standards and best
    practices while continually seeking to innovate and revolutionize processes and
    deliverables that lead to internal efficiencies as well as client satisfaction.
    Be an ambassador advocating for the user and UX Research within the company and
    industry.













 GENERAL
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This is a hands-on role. You will work with business
    stakeholders and consumers to conceptualize requirements and you will drive the
    design process and create your own wireframes and mockups.
  • This is a crossover role. Your UX background is essential,
    and you will work directly with engineers and participate in the entire product
    development life-cycle – from conception, to design, build, QA, and release.
  • Startup Environment: You will be expected to hustle at times,
    to improvise when necessary, be creative and to deliver under tight (at times)
    timelines. You will deliver in an Agile, iterative manner.
  • This is a collaborative role. You will spend time reviewing,
    critiquing, supporting, and lending feedback to others and their work. Other
    team members will return the favor when it comes to you and your work – duly
    considering and incorporating this feedback is essential to your
    responsibilities.









REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in a UX role
  • Demonstrated ability developing and executing creative ideas
    through the creation of wireframes, clickable prototypes and low-fidelity
    prototypes
  • Must be self-motivated, client experience oriented and a
    strong team player
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, able to define ideas down
    to a specification level
  • Must present a positive, professional image. Solid leadership
    and collaboration skills required.
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to plan, manage,
    and execute on simultaneous projects under tight deadlines in a collaborative,
    Agile environment.
  • Must be able to drive project, debate merits of approach and
    work effectively with others.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, especially
    interpersonal, verbal, and written communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to define key success metrics for
    projects, incorporating measurable business objectives, revenue optimization
    and client experience best practices.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry a plus
  • Experience working in an Agile, iterative manner is strongly
    desired
  • Must have an online portfolio or samples of recent work
    (i.e., mockups, prototypes, specifications, guidelines)
