Job Description

We are looking for a user experience designer with strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical & creative ideas, and can bring those ideas life in a way that feels inspired, refined and even magical. The candidate will also have experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment.

Responsibilities:

• Interaction design definition, direction and execution

• Translating concepts & business requirements into engaging user experiences

• Creating prototypes, mockups & wireframes

• Ensuring usability & consistency

• Collaborating with business & tech stakeholders via iterative feedback loops

• Experience with user research such as personas & journey mapping.

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of user experience design experience for software, web applications which leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices

• Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail

• Owns & maintains style guide and/or component library

• Proficient with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies

• Understanding of common software development and/or project management practices/methodologies

• Positive attitude

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with Google Analytics or other UX reporting tools

• Education in Human-Computer Interaction design

• Experience with front-end programming (HTML, CSS, Angular)

• Experience with Material Design

• Participated in site-wide redesign efforts

• Expertise in common wireframing software such as Omnigraffle, Sketch, and Balsamiq; and prototyping software such as Axure RP.
