Position

As a User Experience (UX) Designer you work collaboratively and company-wide to create delightful experiences for people.  You are an evangelist for UX, design thinking, users, and customers. Connect with end-users to understand their problems, generate breakthrough design concepts, and design practical, buildable solutions.  

• Use a Design Thinking framework to design end-to-end user experiences, and user-centered stories.

• Communicate concepts, storyboards, personas, wireframes, user flows, information architectures, and interactive prototypes as needed to simulate the experience.

• Create interaction specifications and work with development in an agile-like fashion to create HTML and CSS-friendly designs.

• Evaluate with users to validate your solutions.

Required

• 3+ years with User Experience (UX) and Interaction design, delivering highly interactive web applications.

• A related design degree, or degree from a related field.

• Deep experience in the world of UX design.

• Comfortable leading internal design thinking and visioning workshops.

• Ability to context shift between short-term deliverables, and planning for the long-term product vision.

• Awareness of responsive design and accessibility.

• Positive and optimistic, respectfully give and receive design feedback.

• Share the latest interactive and UX design trends.

• Ability to travel for customer visits in the United States and abroad.

Preferred

• 5+ years with User Experience (UX) and Interaction design, delivering highly interactive web applications.

• Advanced degree in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Human Factors, or related field.

• Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

• Design across the customer journey including digital products, web sites, brand voice, and services.

• Experience in corporate web sites, visual design, working with video, or  3D tools.
