Sr. DevOps Engineer

We are looking for Sr. DevOps Engineer. Our customers are Galvanize’s employees, members, and students. You will be responsible for solving configuration management, authentication, access control, and operational problems. This role requires skills of traditional operations and development roles as we want you to be able to not just solve problems, but solve them at scale.
About You:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- 4 years experience with UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- 2 years deploying applications on Amazon Web Services.
- Enjoyment of rapidly learning new languages (currently use Rails, Javascript [Angular,Backbone], and Go.)
- Experience using configuration management software.
- Experience with application management.
- Experience with availability monitoring.
- Work closely with our IT staff to ensure success at campuses.
- Desire to drill as far down as you need to in order to solve a problem.
- Experience designing and deploying highly available SOA architectures.
