You will spearhead the ongoing adoption of testing automation and scalability testing throughout the development and QA teams, including mentorship for the team members and the expansion of Digabit’s Documoto™ software, an all-in-one authoring tool, web document repository, and eCommerce solution for equipment manufacturers and their customers. You’ll evaluate the existing QA processes to identify and implement significant areas of improvement for scale, efficiency and accuracy.  

You will create and maintain test cases, test data, test plans, and defect reports. Participate in early story development and design sessions to suggest and assist in acceptance criteria, boundary test, automation plans.


  • 5+ years of software QA experience.
  • Advanced level of expertise in QA principles related to test plans, test cases, integration testing, functional testing, web service testing and automation.
  • 2+ years specific to automation testing using Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor, or another relevant framework.
  • Demonstrated experience with QA for commercial SaaS products, particularly including cross-browser testing of HTTP traffic, HTML5 and JavaScript. Experience testing single page applications, e.g. Ember (preferred), Angular, Backbone, etc., is a big plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of programming languages and syntax particularly around Java.
  • Demonstrated experience with testing integrated software (Web Services (SOAP and REST), and messaging.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of IT systems infrastructure (application, middleware, servers, operating systems, and databases).
  • Knowledgeable in general application and systems architecture.
  • Experience with QA for mobile devices (Android and iOS).
  • Competent in the use of source code control systems such as svn or git and IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
  • Experience with TestNG and Selenium.
  • Experience in Jira highly preferred.
  • Highly competent with one or more Agile methodologies; Scrum and Kanban preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of our technical ecosystem: Windows, Linux, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, including the ability to write and execute scripts and SQL.
