Title: Software Engineering Internship Summer 2024

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for completing assigned projects and tasks related to spacecraft and ground test software, integration, and testing. This will include both new development and changing existing software.

Position Details:

  • 3-month paid internship
  • 40 hours per week
  • No relocation assistance

Location: Louisville, CO

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with the Engineering and Production teams.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation.
  • Take direction from Engineering staff.
  • Attend Software Scrum meetings.
  • Time manage to progress longer term project assignments
  • Weekly tag-ups with manager.
  • Support production occasionally as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Education:

  • Currently pursuing a degree from a four-year university in an engineering or sciences or have a four-year degree and presuming higher education.
  • Must be working towards a degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or other related STEM field.
  • Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate with peers and internal customers
  • Strong analytical skills – comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly and effectively multi-task
  • Effective communication skills; comfortable working in a team environment; high energy and desire to learn.
  • Demonstrate leadership experience through school or extracurricular projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization and active listening skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
