 Position: Software Engineer, HTML5 Desktop Developer
Location: Broomfield, CO
You will join a team of highly passionate software developers responsible for the user interface and middle tier of a .NET desktop application, which is embedded with HTML5 and JavaScript using the Chromium Embedded Framework. You will have the opportunity to work on both desktop and web technologies. Your work will be customer facing, and have a significant impact on the user experience of a product used and loved by many people in a variety of industries.
 
Position Details:
  • Participate in the design and implementation of all facets of a professional-grade desktop application, using object-oriented designs and patterns, implemented in C#, .NET, HTML5 and JavaScript.
  • Ensure the long term quality of the code you develop, through unit and functional testing.
  • Communicate frequently with quality assurance, product management, user experience and other development teams to coordinate work efforts.
  • Pitch in where needed as a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.
 
Required Skills:
  • Strong experience developing complex web applications using JavaScript and other related technologies.
  • Experience with, but not a dependence upon, JavaScript UI frameworks including React, JQuery, Knockout, Bootstrap, Ember or Angular.
  • Demonstrated professional expertise in understanding and implementing object-oriented design patterns.
  • Interest in the latest web development innovations such as ES6, web components, and emerging JavaScript frameworks.
 
Valued Skills:
  • Experience with visualization libraries such as D3, three.js and Highcharts.
  • Experience developing software using C# and the .NET Framework, or another programming language such as Java, Python or Ruby on Rails.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of GUI development using Windows Forms, WPF, or equivalent GUI development technology.
  • Automated testing experiencing using QUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Selenium or other testing frameworks.
  • Educational background in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Working knowledge of C++.
