 Position: Software Architect, Enterprise Software Team
Location: Broomfield, CO

Overview:
Ideal candidates will have experience with multiple components across the Big Data and analytics stack: distributed file and database access, large-scale data processing, statistics, predictive analytics, spatial analytics, and visualization.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Plan, coordinate, architect and supervise implementation of Enterprise software features
  • Working 6 to 12 months ahead of development team in designing optimum approaches
  • Design for resiliency, scalability and extensibility
  • Familiar with open source communities
  • Motivate and mentor the teams to deliver high quality maintainable code
  • Acquire and maintain deep product knowledge
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in data analytics, technology, and web pro
 
Qualifications:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
  • Extensive and applicable experience as a hands-on architect and/or programmer
  • A passion for working with data and analytics, and using them to improve business intelligence and agility
  • A passion for growth, scalability, and performance
  • An ability to work in an agile environment with a collaborative team
  • Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Proven success in improving software architecture and customer experience
Relevant:
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and query languages
  • Experience with data visualization and display libraries such as React or D3
  • Experience with statistics and predictive analytics libraries such as R or MADlib
  • Experience with data analytics processing or programming
  • Experience with mentoring and developing engineering talent
