The Role:

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of ProtectWise’s product team and play a significant role in bringing new, disruptive solutions to the marketplace. The position reports to the VP, Product Management.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Threat Product Manager for the ProtectWise GridTM, you will be responsible for developing the platform strategy and roadmap; working with Engineering, SE and Operations teams to define and prioritize requirements; helping set pricing and go-to-market business models; identifying partnership opportunities, and supporting key strategic deals.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the capabilities to develop enterprise security products from early concept to market success; to develop and execute on innovative product positioning; and to support sales channels and partners to build commercial traction for their strategy. He / She will have 5+ years of high technology product management experience.

Deep technical acumen and experience with enterprise security products is critical. Candidates with drive, a positive attitude, and a desire for success will be given preference.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of security analyst methodologies, use-cases, workflow and toolsets

• Solid understanding of Threat Intelligence and Security Analytics market

• Solid understanding of Security as a Software products and solutions, associated cost models and tradeoffs, Cloud certification standards, scale-out architectural concepts, and Cloud technology stacks

• Strong experience of delivering reporting, dashboards and service delivery metrics to drive customer adoption and retention

• Solid understanding of enterprise security needs and environments

• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, strategic thinking and planning

• Strong leadership skills working across distributed teams with multiple business partners

• Strong experience working with Agile delivery methodology

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate both technical and business related aspects

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Math or Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.

• 5+ years product management experience in IT security or related industry in Enterprise Software or Cloud/ SaaS platforms.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience within incident response, security investigations or SOC operations

• Experience with machine learning techniques for continuous analysis and security analytics

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies for public and private cloud deployments

• Strong background in delivering Enterprise Software products

• Experience managing cloud products built on AWS, Google, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft or Openstack cloud platforms

• Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Operations and Engineering teams to identify, define and prioritize requirements

• Proven strategic analytical and critical thinking to develop vision, roadmap and business case for the ProtectWise GridTM

• Ability to engage and communicate the ProtectWise value at all levels within an organization from executive leadership to technical decision makers

• Ability to manage product requirements and drive timely execution of product development to specification in the agile development process.

• Ability to coordinate across other business partner functions including Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Operations to ensure successful launch of new features and platform modules

• Ability to negotiate across organization to achieve goals
