Senior Consultant, Professional Services

We're looking for a Senior Consultant to guide and ensure the success of Recurly’s most valued customer implementations. You'll have the opportunity to help hundreds of companies and millions of end-users.
The Professional Services Senior Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the Recurly solution. The Consultant will provide Recurly product and implementation expertise to their engagements. The Consultant will work with their clients to understand their business requirements and help configure and test the Recurly solution. This will include business and technical aspects of client on-boarding, API integrations, development and documentation of best practices. You will be a go-to product expert that can design simplified client integrations, diagnose complex setups, and communicate clearly through to resolution.
Key Areas Of Responsibility
Become an expert in the Recurly product suite
Lead design sessions for multiple functional areas
Drive client business requirements
Configure and Prototype the Recurly solution
Demonstrate Recurly features to clients
Support Client with Unit Testing, End to End Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Complete the work assigned to you within the budgeted time allocated
Assist integration consulting team with designing, configuring and testing both packaged and custom integrations
Learn, understand and teach Recurly’s Deployment Methodology
Work with the team to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints
Help mentor new Consultants
Ensure the client takes advantage of Recurly best practices
Identify opportunities to position other service offerings
Participate in update training, supporting ecosystem and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants
Requirements:
At least 8 years implementing Financial solutions.
Experience with subscription and recurring financial solutions is preferred
Hands on technology experience including familiarity with API integration.
Previous consulting experience either as a consultant with a consulting company or an internal consultant.
Experience implementing NetSuite, Zuora, Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications
Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
Passion for customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Project management experience a plus
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
