What you'll do:Billtrust is seeking a motivated, self-directed intern to work as a Software Developer in Test for our software-as-a-service (SaaS) Billing & Payment products. You will work in a dynamic environment with experienced quality assurance engineers serving as customer advocates within Agile scrum teams. You will create test tools and automated test suites that are robust, performant and reusable, allowing our Agile teams to deliver high-quality releases more efficiently.
- Create, optimize, and refactor automated test scripts for client-server and web applications
- Enhance Jira-based test management tool, transfer test data to Jira, and prepare defect status reports
- Partner with QA Engineers to commit manual and automated test cases into automated regression suites
- Collaborate with SCRUM teams from the start of a sprint to deliver best-in-class technical solutions for our Billing & Payment products
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team on multiple tasks and assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience programming in Python, PHP, Visual Studio, C# or other programming languages.
- Availability to participate in our Summer Internship Program full-time, for approximately 10-12 weeks
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science preferred
