QA Test Technician

Cardinal Peak is seeking a talented, energetic QA Test Technician to join our staff.  In this position, you will work on a variety of challenging projects by performing tests that ensure product quality. You will get to collaborate directly with our partners and developers to review technical specifications and design documents to provide valuable feedback.

Requirements:

• QA/test experience with one or more of the following technologies is highly desireable: mobile apps, browser apps, cloud interfaces, consumer electronics hardware/software interfaces, GUIs

• Excellent analytic reasoning and problem solving skills

• Ability to write clearly in order to provide detailed, accurate, and reproducible defect reports

• Great communication skills to allow streamlined interaction with both clients and the Cardinal Peak development team

• Science degree such as Computer Science, Geology, Biology, Astronomy or other technical field preferred.

• Comfortable troubleshooting complex interactions between mobile devices, cloud services, and custom hardware/software systems

• Scripting or programming experience strongly preferred

• Experience with RESTful API troubleshooting via Postman, SoapUI, or the like strongly preferred
