Closetbox (www.closetbox.me), the largest and fastest growing full-service storage and technology company, is seeking a full-time Product Manager to help us exceed our growth goal of 5x in 2017. We grew 10x in the last year and are looking for an experienced Product Manager with 3+ years of product management that is ready to take a big step forward in their career.

At Closetbox, the Product Manager is the owner of the user experience leveraging technology throughout the business.  The PM will work with our operations and finance teams to optimize the productivity of the internal user experience of our proprietary internal order processing, inventory management and logistics platform and its third party integrations. The PM will also assist, as necessary, in optimizing the customer experience of our customer facing storage management dashboard. The PM will collaborate with Engineering to properly scope the project and point each story. The PM will work with internal and external stakeholders to determine prioritization of product features, assess the appropriate technology to meet product requirements and ensure proper user acceptance criteria.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create product vision to outline the scope of product capabilities
• Conduct research from customers, suppliers/partner, competitors, domain experts and internal users etc. to begin to shape Product Roadmap
• Establish and manage the Product Committee from marketing, operations, development and finance to develop the Product Roadmap based on business priorities and development resources
• Develop the Product Roadmap to determine themes/epic of each phase of development for the next twelve months including a strategy for business analytics
• Create a budget for product development to determine costs associated to support the Product Roadmap
• Analyze workflow of business processes to translate business needs in to user stories
• Create user stories to determine product capabilities and user roles
• Develop wireframes based on customer input/user roles or prototyping to align on UI design
• Develop product requirements/backlog based on user stories and wireframes
• Prioritize requirements for Agile Scrum development process
• Negotiate with engineering to determine the appropriate technology to perform specific feature requirements
• Collaborate with engineering on scoping, pointing and prioritization
• Conduct a pre and post mortem to anticipate issues and learn from best practices
• Ensure proper user acceptance testing prior to formal release
• Establish the rollout plan and to ensure proper user training and onboarding
• Ability to implement testing regime to verify user acceptance and solicit user issues or enhancement needs

Requirements:

• Demonstrated success defining and launching products
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of product management experience
• Quantitative and business analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Understanding of Agile Scrum Principles
• Experience with GitHub and other collaboration tools (JIRA)
