Hi! I'm Greer, Craftsy's Creative Director, and I'm thrilled to lead the growing photo production team at a pivotal moment for our company.

As we work to build up our brand marketing efforts, we're creating exciting new ways to communicate visually. We partner with the merchandising and marketing teams to capture compelling content that inspires our audience. The photo coordinator will support that broader effort while also engaging in various opportunities for local innovation and individual ownership.

With that in mind, we’re looking to add an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has the desire to collaborate cross-departmentally, the skills to organize and assist in photo shoot planning and the commitment to continue improving how our highly efficient and deeply creative photo studio operates. This new role at Craftsy will optimize our daily studio photography as well as help execute our location shoots through planning, organizing and supporting staff photographers and stylists.

What You'll Build With Us:
  • Meaningful relationships within the Creative team and across all key cross-functional “clients”
  • Innovative photo production processes that proactively surface issues while effectively balancing
  • efficiency and creativity
  • Experience collaborating with merchandisers to launch new product lines, including receiving and
  • organizing items for photography
  • Experience working with staff photographers and art directors to prioritize products for
  • photography
  • A toolkit for assisting on-location, where you'll gather and distribute product as needed
  • A thoughtful archive of past products that can be easily accessed for future shoots
  • Ownership over digital asset management, specifically, facilitating searchability within our system

What You'll Come In With:
  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree with a focus in photography
  • An aptitude and appreciation for building relationships
  • Insane organization skills and a meticulous attention to detail
  • A flexible attitude when confronting with unexpected obstacles in a fast-paced environment
  • The desire and commitment to continuously learn and improve

What We Need From You to Start:
  • A one-page resumé
  • Instead of a cover letter, answers to the following questions:
    • Tell us about a time when you improved a process. (What needed to be fixed? How did you go about solving the problem? How did you measure success?)
    • Tell us about a time where you collaborated with a group to reach a common goal. (What was your role in the group? Did you achieve your goal? Is there anything you would do differently next time?)
  • References from both creative partners and also “clients” (internal or external)
