Mobile Technical Lead Engineer

Cardinal Peak is seeking a lead mobile engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on Android and/or iOS development experience.  You will collaborate directly with our partners, designers, and developers to create high performance mobile applications across many problem domains including IoT, music and video, and consumer device control.

Our headquarters are located in Lafayette, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Implement high-quality, high-performance Android, iOS, and/or React Native mobile applications using: Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, Javascript.

• Reduce project risks through research and prototyping of solutions

• Define project architectures and best practices

• Mentor less senior developers

• Support pre-sales through technical assessments, high level estimation and scoping

• Engage with clients to refine requirements and technical project approach

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering

• 5+ years mobile development experience, 10+ years software engineering experience

• Broad and deep skills in Android and/or iOS native development - you have to be able to write, debug, and analyze code!

• Solid understanding of memory and resource management, use of instruments and tools to debug and analyze code, networking, consumption of (and maybe even authoring of) RESTful APIs, and thread/process management

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Experience decomposing complex tasks into user stories and tasks

• Comfortable interacting with client teams

Bonus points if you have:

• Javascript, HTML, CSS experience

• React Native experience

• IoT, hardware, or low-level communication experience

• iOS development experience

• Consulting skills and experience
