Position Details:
The Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for managing and executing a content strategy that grows the business and our brand. This individual will research, create and write compelling multi-channel content that enhances the customer experience, fosters engagement and loyalty, and ultimately strengthens CSG’s brand perception through authentic and relevant storytelling.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of the content strategy and implementation: scoping, planning and delivering best-in-class content.
- Write and edit various forms of content to include sales collateral materials, briefings, white papers, bylined articles, and short- and long-form blog content that is interesting, informative and impactful.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of audience segmentation and tone of voice in driving content strategy partnerships and format.
- Support building an internal subject matter expert network, leveraging the expertise of CSG employees to create compelling, multi-channel content
- Participate in the development of overall editorial calendars geared around the OSS/BSS industry.
- Develop and update content that can be leveraged for various channels to include, public relations, internal communications analyst relations, social, and sales collateral.
- Assist with the content creation and coordination of the company’s strategic communications strategy, including developing topics, securing speakers, and other logistics
- Deliver a cross-functional program of activity to improve content with consistent, integrated messaging that is effectively placed across multiple media to engage with target audiences.

Professional Experience
- Targeting a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.
- 5+ years of marketing/communications experience
- Exceptional writing skills and proficiency in AP style
- Experience in developing engagement strategy
- Demonstrates a passion for writing and storytelling and is proactive in creating conversations and seeking innovative ways to connect with customer base
- Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive communications
- Outstanding written, verbal and online marketing communications skills with refined proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to think outside of the box, and good eye for design
- Flexibility and composure under pressure
- Learning on the fly- naturally curious, versatile learner, open to change and knows when to ask for direction
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, Journalism, English or Business, or the equivalent work experience
Travel
- Must be able to travel internationally and/or domestically (dependent upon location of the role) up to 20% of the time.
