Brand Iron is looking for a Web Developer with 1-3 years of experience to grow with us. We have several large builds coming up within the next few months and would like to get someone started who can quickly get up and running.

 

In this role, you’ll be working with the Senior Developer to scope, plan and launch websites, mostly on the WordPress platform.

 

On a daily basis you’ll be asked to do any of the following:

- Start a new build from Illustrator designs/wireframes

- Spin up development environments

- Make updates to existing sites

- Create HTML emails

- Add jQuery functionality

- Add WP flavored PHP functionality

- Update Sass/CSS or HTML files

 

Who we’re looking for:

- Someone with a few WP sites under their belt

- Simple JS knowledge: you can make menus and drawers open and close with jQuery

- Simple WP templating knowledge: know the loop and how to write/call a function.
