From the start, you can expect to…
- Work closely with cross-functional technology team members (UX, Product, Front End, DevOps).
- Design, develop and deploy against our service based architecture using Java 8 and reactive programming.
- Forecast approximate launch dates and communicate changes as they arise
- Quickly acquire deep subject matter expertise and broad understanding of the business and architecture.
- Develop, review and deploy at a rapid pace, receiving business and customer feedback within days.
- Work with the HashiCorp stack (Vagrant, Packer, Terraform) for development and deployment.
In the ideal applicant, we're looking for…
- 3+ years full-time Java development
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to successfully complete complex technical projects.
- Demonstrated impact on your engineering organization with a track record of innovation and hard work.
- Familiarity and experience with a variety of software development approaches (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.)
- Experience with distributed system design, REST-based service boundaries or message-based architectures.
