We expect all our architects to be hands-on as they deliver technology solutions and lead our clients to strategic goals.

Responsibilities :
  • Design and implement complete solution from a proof of concept to a robust high-volume production application
  • Develop prototypes quickly
  • Estimate level of effort and complexity
  • Lead development teams using an iterative methodology
  • Perform peer code reviews
  • Learn new technologies as needed
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study
  • Minimum 8 years of hands on experience with Java technologies
  • Mastery of Object Oriented Design principles
  • Mastery of fundamentals of iterative development
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through a variety of activities, including leading or mentoring technical staff and consistently delivering high quality work
  • Spring Framework (Dependency Injection, Spring MVC, Transaction Management)
  • ORM experience with JPA or Hibernate
  • Have a strong understanding of, and significant practical experience with Java web application development, middle-tier integration frameworks and designing relational data models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous consulting experience
  • Practical experience with any NoSQL database (HBase, Mongo, CouchDB, Neo4J, etc.)
  • Alternate JVM languages (Groovy/Grails, Scala, etc.)

  • Ensure execution of other assigned tasks (e.g., business development, internal projects, public appearances)
  • Maintain deep expertise in one or more focus areas of specialization providing applicable insight, direction and training
  • Evaluate and recommend architecture strategies and upgrades that ensure adequacy and contribute to improved organizational effectiveness
  • Demonstrate effective analytical skills and the ability to determine underlying meaning of analysis while developing insightful and creative conclusions
  • Maintain an understanding of the company’s service offerings and capabilities, reference and participate in developing and promoting thought leadership (e.g., client reports, presentations)
  • Participate in company activities, including helping recruit top talent, contribution of high-valued and reusable intellectual capital, pursuing individual career goals and demonstrating ability to act on feedback received
