GBDX Platform Test Engineer

About the team

The GBDX Core team builds and operates the underlying services that make up the GBDX platform & ecosystem. The services we build & deploy are highly robust & scalable, they move and manage petabytes of satellite imagery, and they enable 3rd party developers to build & deploy algorithms on our platform. The system is built on top of Amazon Web Services, and we focus on ease of use, simplicity, and execution.

Role

We are looking for a motivated & highly qualified individual to join the GBDX Core team as a test engineer. For us, the ideal test engineer fulfills ALL the following requirements:

(a) Excellent coding skills, with strong knowledge of Python;

(b) Experience with test design & automation;

(d) 'Make-it-happen' attitude, the innate capacity for ownership and timely delivery of results in a fastpaced environment.

The following are pluses but are not prerequisites:

(e) Experience with testing & QA of complex distributed systems;

(f) Experience with Amazon Web Services;
