Homebot is an exciting, fast-growing start-up in the FinTech, Bot and AI/Data Science space that is revolutionizing how homeowners build wealth with the single largest asset they’ll ever own -- their home. The US homeownership market is the largest asset class in the world at $23 trillion but is essentially an “unmanaged” asset. Homebot is solving this problem with a solution that combines key value for homeowners, lenders and real estate professionals. Homebot participated in the 500 Startups accelerator in San Francisco last year and recently won the “Banking Disrupted First Place” award among a dozen of the hottest fintech startups in the country.

Your day-to-day will be working with our team to design a new product API capable of taking our product into its next phase of growth. What this involves is migrating our applications away from Node.JS onto a Rails-based stack and working on a data-ingestion pipeline that consumes public record information for future product features.
- 3–5 years of full-stack web development
- 2+ years of Ruby experience
- Strong understanding of REST API design and architecture
- Working knowledge of a JS-based web framework (Ember, Angular, React, etc)
Nice to have:
- Active participation in open source communities
- Prior experience working in an Agile environment
- Prior experience working in an early-stage startup
- Prior experience with big-data / data visualization
