The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring financial and non-financial metrics are accurately and consistently tracked and communicated to the organization. This role provides an excellent foundation to learn about HomeAdvisor and gain responsibility for external financial reporting and forecasting.
 
Responsibilities include:
- Providing accurate, timely reporting to executive team on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure that real-time business decisions can be made based on sound financial data
- Working closely with business owners to explain business trends and determine drivers of variances to forecast and prior years
- Conducting or assisting with financial analysis projects by retrieving and analyzing data

Tools for the trade:
- 2+ years of professional experience in a financial/business analysis role
- Superior analytical, problem-structuring, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel experience
- Strong, demonstrable SQL skills or MS Access experience
- Experience synthesizing information from numerous sources, working with incomplete data, and presenting concise analyses
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Tableau and/or BI experience gets you major bonus points
