Summary
Leadership position responsible for maintaining and building a corporate level, cross functional quality initiative with a focus on product quality as part of A3C (Accuracy, Currency, Completeness, Consistency). Accountability for creation of an internal and external DigitalGlobe culture that is attentive to product quality as a means to maintain industry leadership, improve brand equity and ultimately revenue growth. Development of all collateral materials to support the extensibility of the program (training materials, competency testing, quality stories, coordination of corporate initiatives and strategic actions). Expected to interact with senior leadership and be the advocate for quality across the organization. Leadership in this role is critical to supporting the long range strategy of DigitalGlobe.
Responsibilities
- Manage Product Quality Engineering Team
- Senior level leader advocating for product quality across the organization
- Develop and maintain corporate wide view, prioritized view of business driven product quality related initiatives
- Coordinate and Conduct Monthly Quality Review/Audit
- Align with Corporate Strategy on Quality initiative and actions for each calendar year
- Provide detailed quality training to Customer Experience and sales team on detailed quality vignettes and performance measurements
- Responsible for the definition and tracking of quality goals and metrics as related to Commitment to Customer Initiative (C2C)
- Accountable for internal and external communication of Quality program to Team Members and industry stakeholders
Job Requirements
- BA / BS Business Administration or Geospatial Sciences, or related undergraduate degree
- Remote Sensing, Geospatial, GIS Experience strongly preferred
- Experience driving business transformation initiatives, preferably quality programs
- Ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance
- Experience in leading change management initiatives and culture improvements
