More about the job:

As a Director of Marketing, you will:

  • Implement a tool and strategy for marketing automation and attribution
  • Develop and communicate a clear shared vision for a B2B2C marketing effort - engaging prospective students through their employers - including developing a toolkit of marketing strategies that can be deployed across multiple partners
  • Effectively plan and execute all marketing campaigns to recruit new prospective students through employer channels
  • Manage student and partner outreach channels including: field work, info sessions, print, social, email, text and paid marketing.
  • Analyze, measure and report all marketing efforts and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Keep up with current and future trends in digital marketing and online higher education.
  • Use creative marketing strategy to engage and excite prospective students interested in furthering their education.

We hope you have core skills & experience including:

  • Digital Marketing: need to have proficient experience in digital marketing and understand how to lay the foundation for a successful digital marketing mix. You’re able to:
    • write a series of effective emails, run A/B tests to determine most effective content
    • be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver student interest & enrollment
    • identify opportunities to optimize SEO/SEM efforts and execute on those opportunities
    • familiarity with planning and executing paid campaigns specifically Facebook and Twitter
  • Data Analysis: you love numbers and data because you want to run a data-driven marketing team. You’re able to:
    • take full accountability for business metrics, setting clear, measurable marketing goals and track progress against those goals
    • ability to analyze marketing metrics from tools such as Google Analytics, MailChimp campaigns, Salesforce and Heap/Segment
  • Content Creation: you can develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, gaining buy-in from internal partners from the development of creative briefs through idea execution. You’re able to:
    • identify quality content to share with our student base
    • manage team and work with designers to deliver high-quality and engaging content
    • analyze content patterns and adapt strategy to fit customer needs
    • write blogs and develop content bank for current and prospective students
  • Marketing Tools & Systems: implement the systems and tools for marketing attribution and automation. You’re able to:
    • Suggest tools and support implementation of these systems into our technology infrastructure
    • Help drive the right intervention points for marketing automation
  • Field Outreach and Organizing:
    • Past experience managing field outreach / on-site marketing efforts, ideally on data-driven campaigns.
    • Experience managing other staff and systems for tracking daily field metrics, soft and hard reporting numbers, and
