We are looking for someone who will shape our culture of developer advocacy. In doing so, bring CA’s API, Mobile and future products to the communities it can help most. To accomplish this we need someone who can: create with code, teach others with passion and deliver that passion through a variety of mediums and locations. You will be: speaking, presenting, blogging, coding, and helping from an informed point of view, on & offline. Leveraging insights from a variety of developer interactions, you will help our product and sales teams to build and sell better products.

Given the breadth of CA’s presence and products, this role will have up to 50% travel and will not be tied to a specific geography or office. But don’t worry, these are events you should have been planning to be at anyway. You also can’t create a culture without communication. You must be comfortable speaking in front of groups from 5-500 and collaborating with a variety of teams to help our customers and the community solve problems. We will look to you to encourage external developers to foster open source projects and create an ecosystem of active participation.

Showcase build & release experience in modern application programming languages (Javascript, NodeJS, Swift, Ruby, Python, Go, etc)

History of great community engagement (GitHub, Twitter, Blogs, etc.)

3. Bringing feedback from the field to improve products and strategy.
