 Position: Contract - Quality Engineer
Location: Broomfield, CO

Overview:
This is an initial three month contract opportunity to help our Quality Engineering team on some specific projects.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Create, execute, track and maintain manual and automated functional and regression test suites
  • Provide insight into test requirements, design and implementation
  • Analyze requirements and technical documentation to plan, develop and implement tests
  • Provide detailed problem analysis to the development teams driving product quality
  • Act as a customer advocate, committed to delivering quality throughout the company
 
Skills and Experience: 
  • 3+ years as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of development and automation tools in a Windows environment
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum driven development environment 
 
Helpful additional skills:
  • Visual Studio (C++, C#, .NET)
  • Web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST API)
  • Relational (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL (Mongo) databases and query languages 
  • Distributed, parallel infrastructure such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or MapReduce 
  • Statistics and predictive analytics libraries such as R
  • Tableau, Qlik, SAS, MicroStrategy, SPSS, or MATLAB
  • Data visualization and reporting
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other geospatial technologies
  • Selenium or other test automation tools
