Overview:
This is an initial three month contract opportunity to help our Quality Engineering team on some specific projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create, execute, track and maintain manual and automated functional and regression test suites
- Provide insight into test requirements, design and implementation
- Analyze requirements and technical documentation to plan, develop and implement tests
- Provide detailed problem analysis to the development teams driving product quality
- Act as a customer advocate, committed to delivering quality throughout the company
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- MS/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of development and automation tools in a Windows environment
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum driven development environment
Helpful additional skills:
- Visual Studio (C++, C#, .NET)
- Web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, REST API)
- Relational (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL (Mongo) databases and query languages
- Distributed, parallel infrastructure such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or MapReduce
- Statistics and predictive analytics libraries such as R
- Tableau, Qlik, SAS, MicroStrategy, SPSS, or MATLAB
- Data visualization and reporting
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other geospatial technologies
- Selenium or other test automation tools
