We're looking for a talented and experienced backend developer to be part of a core team building the service that supports a state-of-the-art mobile robotics product. Architect, design, build, and test a platform that delivers content to customers and responds to commands from robots. Develop and maintain database content (both SQL and NoSQL), create systems that monitor the health of the backend server(s) while maintaining security.
Required- BS or MS in computer science 5+ years experience with full stack, large scale applications on modern frameworks.
- Proven experience architecting and building a robust backend (API, Sockets, WebSockets).
- Deep knowledge of Internet security protocols and development best practices.
- Strong DevOps mindset, monitoring, testing, and continuous delivery.
- Excellent programming skills in Elixir, SQL, and Bash.
- Strong communications skills and willingness to take initiative with complex projects.
- Experience with puppet/ansible or similar configuration management systems.
- Experience with JavaScript (React a plus).
