Augur is a rapidly scaling, venture funded, 2013 TechStars Company based in Denver Colorado. 

The Company has just recruited a new Chief Executive Officer and raised a new round of funding from existing investors and new investors.  With these two big events, Augur will be taking the next step to become a uniquely positioned Company in the digital advertising market, a $200 billion market built on the promise of an efficient and highly tactical technology driven ecosystem reaching consumers in connected networks for large brands and performance marketers. 

Augur has developed a deterministic device recognition platform that currently enables advertising companies and security companies to create a persistent device identifier that recognizes all devices used by a single entity/user no matter where and when seen on connected networks.  

To provide additional value to marketers and commerce companies, Augur is adding an application layer on top of its recognition platform solving the cross-device, cross-channel conversion attribution problem.  Marketers demand clear accurate results from their cross-device, cross-channel marketing campaigns and marketing services providers require full-funnel platforms that provide accurate ROI analytics and insights to help them meet marketer’s needs.  Currently, no company provides this capability with a high degree of accuracy. Augur’s deterministic technology coupled with the applications it’s building will meet this need.

Join a team experts who are inventing high-performance predictive models that persistently map devices on the internet. Working with big data, generated from billions of hits per month, your work will improve internet-wide analytics, prevent fraud, and more. Much of this work is creative and requires innovation.

* You'll be working in Node.js / JavaScript

* Need:

* Background in math, algorithms

* Experience, knowledge, interest in Machine learning

* Experience writing high-performance, low-level (C,C++,Java) / JavaScript code

* Love Linux deving

* Nice to have skills:

* Experience with high-throughput systems, scalable systems, big data

* OS knowledge (threads, processes, scheduling algorithms, etc.)
