 We are currently seeking an experienced, results-driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join our hard-charging Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of accounts payable experience in a multi-entity professional accounting environment, be deadline-driven, be academically strong with a proven track record of on-the-job performance, and have a desire to excel in and improve our innovative and ever-changing company.

 What you'll be doing:

  • Process accounts payable (approximately 1,200-1,500 transactions per month, including check/ACH/Wire remittances), with a specific focus on expenses and expense report payment.
  • Support both internal and external customers.
  • Help develop a more cohesive purchase to pay standard within the department.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and accounts payable aging.
  • Facilitate adherence to Corporate Purchasing policies.
  • Support Internal Audit (both in-house and Parent Company) with both internal and external audit processes.
  • Ad-hoc analysis as necessary and at the discretion of the AP Manager.
  • Ensure appropriate accounts payable controls are in place to support business operations consistent with the company's growth and reporting requirements.

 Required experience:

  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience focused on Accounts Payable processes
  • Past experience working with expenses/expense reporting/PO processes
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures is a plus
  • Experience with large ERP/accounting systems is necessary; NetSuite/UltiPro experience is a plus
  • Intermediate ability with MS Excel
  • Proficient in accurately entering data

 Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit or stand for up to 8 hours at a time; use hands and fingers to perform repetitive motions; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb, or balance (stairs). The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

 Work Environment:

  • This position is subject to many interruptions and may be required to handle multiple calls or inquiries at once. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
