As we move forward into a new and exciting year I wanted to take this opportunity to share some great news about the growth and development of AppIt Ventures. After two years in the mobile development industry, and with over 30 products under our belt we’ve learned a lot about ourselves and the market. Last fall we decided to make a small pivot and move into the Enterprise App Development space.
To further our goal of becoming a high end, premium app development company we decided to raise a seed round and focus our efforts on building world class products for small and medium sized businesses. I’m happy to announce that we’ll be launching our first enterprise project next month for the largest cattle auction company in the nation.
We’ve also been able to add to our team and bring on some truly talented people. Lawrence Battey has over 20 years of enterprise sales experience and brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and skill to AppIt Ventures. We are also very fortunate to have Stuart Parker join the team as our senior iOS (iPhone/iPad) developer. The quality of his work is unparalleled, but don’t challenge him to a game of ping pong (he’ll take your money).
I’m also happy to announce the launch of our new website (go ahead and check it out, I’ll wait). We’ve retained a lot of our core brand and personality, but reworked the content and messaging to reflect the wider and deeper set of skills and capabilities we now possess. In summary, we ended 2013 on a high note, and things are only looking up from here. We look forward to continuing to share our love of new technology and the cool products we’re working on in 2014.
