Video is a crucial tool for content marketing. It allows brands to deliver messages in a format that customers and potential consumers already embrace, rather than pushing incentives or offers through another platform. But it’s often difficult for content managers to distribute, transcode, syndicate, and measure their online video campaigns, and MediaNest is working to solve this problem and simplify the process.

The Boulder-based startup and Boomtown graduate launched earlier this year and has developed a web app that manages videos across multiple online channels, creating a one-stop-shop for companies to easily manage their video content.

“Most people who work in video marketing spend their day logging in to all the different video accounts and uploading the same video to each one,” said CMO and Co-Founder Natasha Robinson.

With MediaNest you can do the job with just a simple click.

The app allows users to upload videos to a number of different sites including Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube, without the time-consuming hassle of managing separate accounts and users have the opportunity to receive their video’s analytics aggregated into one report. MediaNest can also help with search engine optimization.

“We all know the best way to get your video noticed is to have a good title,” Robinson said. “When [users] enter in their video’s title, MediaNest crosschecks key words with what people are currently searching for.”

They can then make adjustments to the title, making it more searchable online.

The company also offers free online video distribution and social media marketing tools to qualified nonprofits. The program was launched in support of the most recent #GivingTuesday, and Robinson said she hopes nonprofits will use the technology to help increase awareness and reach potential donors online.

Robinson said the company is currently raising funds to bring on new team members, increase office space and cover backend system costs. Since the team of three already has more than 20 years of accumulated online video experience, she said they are very excited to see how far MediaNest will go in the online video industry.

Company’s are starting to see that the best returns come from video marketing,” she said. “And our product is pretty much a no brainer for anyone who’s doing video marketing.”
