As a Gogo Business Aviation <b>Airborne Platform Automation Test Engineer,</b> you will be responsible for quality assurance and software testing for Gogo BA airborne products on a Linux platform. You will help create, execute, and automate tests for our existing products and <b>Next Generation 5G Air to Ground and Satcom </b>solutions. We are creating world-class automated test environments and are looking for people who share our vision!<br>Do you want to work with people who are experts in their field and have fun working together?<br><b>COME ON BOARD THE GOGO BUSINESS AVIATION ENGINEERING TEAM!</b><br><b>HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE</b><br><ul><li>Verify, validate, and regression test software features, including Linux networking, wireless telecommunications protocols including data communications, Mobile Communication, and the device's graphical user interface</li><li>Create test plans, test scripts, and test cases for product validation and bug fixes based on system requirements</li><li>Review, update, and execute existing automated regression tests and analyze results</li><li>Automate regression tests via the Gogo GATE framework</li><li>Identify and effectively troubleshoot software/network problems and implement appropriate corrections.</li></ul><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in <b>Computer Science</b>, <b>Computer Engineering,</b> or <b>Electrical Engineer</b> or equivalent experience</li><li>4-7 years of <b>Software</b>, <b>Firmware</b>, and/or <b>System testing</b> experience, including <b>test planning</b>, <b>integration testing,</b> and <b>system-level testing</b></li><li>Must be willing to <b>be in the Broomfield office 2-3 days per week</b></li></ul><br><b>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TALENTS</b><br><ul><li>Strong <b>Quality Assurance</b> <b>(QA) experience</b>, particularly in automation scripting</li><li>Fluency in <b>Python</b> <b>3</b></li><li>Effortlessness in <b>Linux and development in Linux OS environments</b></li><li>Familiarity with <b>Linux networking</b></li><li>Experience with <b>Docker Containers</b></li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul><br><b>PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TALENTS</b><br><ul><li>Experience with the Jenkins automation build and test environment</li><li>Relevant software configuration management and tools skills using Git</li><li>Linux server administration skills</li><li>Experience with the Agile software development methodology and SAFe framework</li><li>WEB GUI test automation</li><li>Experience with Avionics and ARINC protocols</li><li>Experience with the DO-178C certification process</li><li>Satellite communication experience</li><li>Cellular network experience</li></ul><br>We love work-life balance as much as you do!
