Provide practical, consistent, and proactive support, direction and advice to shop level management and shop staff in addressing employee relations matters.
Provide expertise in the state-specific and company human resource policies programs, processes, procedures and systems.
Support and contribute to company-wide efforts to enhance the company culture and employee experience.
Administer leave of absences for Mid-West and East Coast Regions. Track leaves and employee premiums, as well as advising the management team of pertinent leave information. Ensure that supporting documentation is maintained and provided in a timely manner.
Work with HR and DM staff to respond to and file appeals for unemployment claims.
Monitor employment law within the region, communicating potential changes and making recommendations to management.
Assist with workers’ compensation & safety program policies & process. Support with filing claims, communication to shop management and staff regarding claims status, work modifications/accommodations and return to work.
