The Validator Relations Associate at Jito Labs will connect with Solana validators, managing documentation, communication, feedback, and community engagement to enhance the validator ecosystem.
About the Role
Jito Labs is looking for a Validator Relations Associate who will partner closely with Solana validators, bridging technical and business needs and acting as the primary connection between validators and the Jito team.
You'll play a pivotal role in strengthening Jito’s validator ecosystem across our core product suite (Block Assembly Marketplace (BAM), Jito Block Engine, and Jito (Re)staking) building strong relationships and ensuring validators receive world-class guidance, service, and communication.
This is a part-time role, ideal for someone with deep knowledge of the Solana validator ecosystem who is looking to contribute flexibly while supporting a fast-moving team.
Responsibilities
- Keep validator-facing documentation accurate and up to date as products evolve
- Act as the primary point of contact for validators, providing updates on new releases and handling support requests
- Summarize, triage, and escalate validator issues to business development and engineering to improve products and processes
- Communicate with validators around the JitoSOL delegation mechanism and eligibility questions
- Track validator needs and provide structured feedback loops into product and leadership teams
- Help shape validator onboarding and education by drafting guides, FAQs, and thought pieces on Solana block-building
- Contribute to the validator community through open source tooling, research or other community resources
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the Solana validator ecosystem and staking economics
- Familiarity with the Solana runtime and SVM architecture
- Eagerness to collaborate with and inform the validator community
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hungry to learn and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
