Honeybee Robotics is seeking a Test Technician to assist and execute standard and custom test procedures on a variety of projects. This is a second shift position, but will require training on first shift for a period of time. Occasional weekends and paid overtime may be required. This is a temporary position. In all cases, there is an opportunity to convert to a permanent position if individual performance and business conditions allow.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests in accordance with test procedures
  • Temperature and pressure monitoring and adjustment
  • Test observations and reporting
  • Test anomaly reporting
  • Work collaboratively with multi-functional disciplines in support of test operations
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Ground support equipment fabrication and maintenance

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years working in an engineering field or precision mechanical assembly environment
  • General knowledge and experience with standard test equipment
  • The ability to work a 2nd shift schedule with regular working hours from 3:00pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday
  • Temperature and pressure gauge experience
  • Data Acquisition systems experience
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thermal vacuum chamber operation experience
  • Previous aerospace industry experience
  • Aerospace Workmanship Certifications: J-STD-001 Space Addendum, NASA STD 8739

Physical Requirements:

Compensation and Benefits:
