About the Role

OrthoFi is growing rapidly and we are in need of a Technical Recruiter to join our award winning team on a contract basis. The primary focus of this position is to work proactively with our Product and Development teams to source project needs by attracting and hiring the best candidates. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic individual that thrives on networking and enjoys the challenge of finding the top technical talent.

As the technical recruiter, you will be in charge of researching, screening, and selecting talented candidates with technical abilities that fit OrthoFi’s hiring need. You will manage and analyze the candidate experience, accompanying the technical candidates through the process of screening and interviewing and monitoring the effectiveness of recruiting efforts and tools.

The successful candidate will be a problem solver and will pay extreme attention to detail. We are looking for someone with advanced knowledge of technical positions in relevant fields, as you will be hiring for these positions on a regular basis. You must possess advanced interpersonal skills to communicate with candidates, as well as to interview those individuals. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Establish and maintain close relationships with product and development team managers to understand position needs and to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs

  • May be involved in writing and posting job descriptions using appropriate technical terminology

  • Effectively source, screen, and interview applicants for technical skills and ability

  • Conduct in-depth screenings and assess potential candidates for level of interest, technical skills, qualifications, and compensation

  • Convert hard-to-find passive talent through an understanding of the business and employee value proposition

  • Stay current on market trends and innovative sourcing practices

  • Work with other recruiters on the team to help one another and accomplish team goals

Desired Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years previous successful recruiting experience

  • Preferably one year as a technical recruiter working with IT professionals, technical sales, or a combination of both

  • Basic knowledge of IT terminology and concepts, and the willingness to continue to learn about the latest technologies

  • Passion for talent management and business operations

  • Effective time management and prioritization skills

  • Experience working at agency or in the tech / SaaS industry a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
