Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage supplier activities to ensure the quality of jet engine components while working closely with Sourcing, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality and delivery of sourced components.
- Includes both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development. Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
- Manage assigned suppliers to assure capability and processes to deliver high quality product. Provide technical guidance to suppliers to assure product and process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct audits to assure that suppliers have effective process control, rigorous product acceptance standards, and robust quality systems
- Work with suppliers to improve process capability and drive process improvement. Drive suppliers to perform Continuous Improvement projects to reduce top issue trends.
- Lead supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting assigned suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
- Track metrics & works quality improvement plans to address problem areas
- Review and approve quality plans, investigate quality escapes to provide root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective actions are taken
- Mentor suppliers in the application of quality tools & requirements
- Ensure compliance, and drive improvement plans where needed
- Review documentation and witness supplier practices to determine if sound manufacturing and inspection principles are in place
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a quality to execute policy.
- Work with suppliers to eliminate escaping defects and scrap for assigned suppliers. Lead root cause analysis (RCCA) and implement robust corrective action to prevent recurrence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality or Sourcing).
- Ability and willingness to travel (domestic and international) to support business needs, as required (estimated 25%)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of an organization
- Six Sigma trained and certified
The salary range for this position is $94,400.00 - 125,900.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan. This posting is expected to close on December 10, 2025.
