Job Description SummaryGrid System Integration (GSI) are seeking a Strategic Data Analyst & Business Development to support commercial growth initiatives through data analytics, KPI performance tracking, and CRM pipeline management. For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $92,800.00 and $154,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. - Analyze IIR dashboards to identify and prioritize market segments, target accounts, and installed base opportunities.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to leadership on market focus, segment penetration, and growth potential.
- Conduct 20+ “qualified” commercial activities weekly (tracking leads, opportunity value, and key account engagement).
- Convert qualified leads into pipeline opportunities through structured prospecting.
- Build and maintain a structured opportunity pipeline in CRM (Salesforce/SPREAK4GE).
- Design and automate analytical dashboards to track commercial performance (KPIs) including opportunity value, funnel conversion rates, contact frequency, close ratios and revenue metrics.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to support business development and long-term service agreements (LTSA).
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement LEAN initiatives and optimize reporting processes.
- Establish and strengthen customer relationships through effective communication and recurring engagement.

- Evaluate GEV-hosted events or conferences where GSI-Service should be included.
- Work with business team members to develop a conference plan.
- Target two conferences or events per quarter (define market segment, location, budget for funding approval).
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent Grid Industry experience.
- 3 years professional sales experience in business development, commercial support, customer engagement, or data analytics roles.
- Certification in Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools.
- Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time, may include international travel, and must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret installed base and market data to drive prioritization and commercial recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience building analytical dashboards for performance tracking or business decision support.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage customer stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience in utilities, industrial, data center, or energy sectors.
- Understanding of technical services (maintenance, modernization, upgrades).
- Experience supporting business development in a matrix organization.
