Overview:

The Software Engineer, User Interface will join a team of highly passionate software developers responsible for the user interface of our desktop and cloud product, which is built using JavaScript, C#/.NET and C++.

Position Details:

• Participate in the architecture and design of features associated with a professional-grade desktop and cloud application.
• Develop new product functionality using JavaScript, C#/.NET, and/or C++.
• Work with product management, UX, quality assurance, development team members and other engineering development teams to coordinate product development activities.
• Support, maintain and enhance legacy code, including migration to new technologies.
• Participate in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of technical talent.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience developing software using JavaScript, C#/.NET, and/or C++.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of GUI development using HTML5, Windows Forms, WPF, or equivalent GUI development technology.
• Demonstrated professional expertise in understanding and implementing OO design patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and listening skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direction and guidance.

Valued Skills:

• Experience using React.js or equivalent component framework.
• Experience developing software using node.js, Electron or related frameworks.
• Automated testing experience using NUnit, MSTest, QUnit, Karma or other testing frameworks.
• Experience with third party component libraries, such as Telerik, MindFusion, SyncFusion and Infragistics.
• Experience using Subversion, Perforce, GIT, or equivalent SCM.
• Demonstrated excellence in a fast-paced Agile environment.
