Bash Scripts and Duct Tape is a self-named, internal team at CA Technologies with a great sense of humor and a fun atmosphere. The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a passion to develop an automated delivery of our current systems to meet data residency needs. This role will be part of a highly-collaborative team of five Engineers and one QA expert that is foundational to the technical decisions and architectures for the company. We think radically transforming the way software is built, delivered and monitored is exciting stuff, and we’re looking for developers who want to join the fun.

What you will be doing:

Joining a team with the objective of modernizing an industry leading Agile software product. You will help accelerate our overall Engineering organization by filling a skillset gap on the team to help improve our offering and to meet a segment of our customer market.

Qualifications:

At the end of the day, the main things we’re searching for are talent and passion. However, experience in certain areas could help you waste no time, so here’s our attempt at narrowing things down a bit:

• Networking or Systems Administration (Linux)
• Automated Build and Deploy (Jenkins, Travis CI)
• Configuration Management Tooling (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm)
• Cloud Platform Delivery (Azure, AWS)
• Solid experience in programming languages (Java, JavaScript)
