* . By collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, this specialist ensures that Epic solutions are deployed and tested according to best practices. * Understanding performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting issues
* Stay current with Epic system trends and developments
* Developing automation strategies for installing, configuring, and maintaining the Epic system
* Assisting or performing Epic environment migrations, server migrations, or storage migrations
* Operational Database Administrators (ODBA) specifics:
* Creating, managing, and/or updating IRIS per the client's environment strategies, including any IRIS specific configurations for mirroring and/or ECP as needed
* Configuring and maintaining environment copies per the client's environment strategies
* Developing and maintaining scripts for system management and backups across multiple platforms
* Performing AIX to Linux migrations as needed
* Epic Client Systems Administrators (ECSA) specifics:
* Managing, maintaining, and implementing the Epic infrastructure for the Web and Service Tier

* Configuring load balancing per requirements of the Epic system
