Job Description SummaryAs a key member of GE Vernova’s Digital Technology (DT) Enabling Functions team, the Senior Director – Enabling Functions Transformation will lead and deliver high-impact, enterprise-wide strategic transformation initiatives across enabling functions, including Global Law & Policy (Legal and Compliance). This role partners closely with DT and business function leaders and stakeholders to drive digitization, process optimization, operational efficiency, and change management, ensuring that all transformation initiatives are aligned with the company’s vision and strategy, delivering sustainable business value.Job Description#LI-Remote - This is a remote position
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital transformation strategies and roadmaps for enabling functions, in collaboration with DT and functional leaders, as well as executive stakeholders, to identify business needs, prioritize initiatives, and drive adoption of digital capabilities.
- Oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives within a cohesive transformation roadmap; partner cross-functionally to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation projects and programs leveraging innovative technologies, data & analytics, and AI to accelerate digitization, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage project management activities, ensuring timely delivery, effective budget and resource management, and adherence to established goals.
- Champion change management to facilitate successful organizational adoption of new processes and technologies; ensure stakeholder alignment and engagement throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Drive product management using user-centric methodologies, managing the full product lifecycle from strategy through delivery.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation efforts, ensuring business continuity and sustainability.
- Facilitate executive and senior leadership-level communication, reporting, and decision-making regarding transformation progress, outcomes, and challenges.
- Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across enabling functions’ transformation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years' experience in DT/IT project and product management, digital transformation, technology enablement, or similar fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in program and portfolio management, transformation leadership, change management, or business process optimization within large & global organizations.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with process improvement and digital transformation, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile, etc. methodologies.
- Proven expertise and experience in SaaS application implementation and technical product management.
- Skilled in gathering and analyzing functional requirements and use cases through close collaboration with business teams to deliver effective technology strategies, roadmaps, and digital solutions.
- Experience in RFP processes, vendor selection, and software evaluation.
- Proficiency in project and program management tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project, Smartsheet); certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or Product Owner are preferred.
- Strong interest and track record in current and emerging technologies, including AI/GenAI, demonstrated through training, professional experience, and/or industry conferences, etc.
