Where do you fit?
As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll own a targeted territory and be responsible for generating new business through outbound efforts. You’ll prospect strategically, engage C-level stakeholders, and run a full-cycle sales process from initial contact through close—with average deal sizes ranging from $75K to $500K+ ARR.
You’ll focus primarily on the Manufacturing, Wholesale, and Distribution verticals—industries where our CRM platform drives measurable impact. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to company executives, input into product direction, and the chance to shape how Sugar grows in key vertical markets.
**This role operates on a hybrid model, with a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration at our Denver, Colorado location, specifically, working in-office a minimum of 4 days per week**
Impact you will make in this role:
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals, quota and activity
- Develop, manage, and close a pipeline of net-new business opportunities
- Execute proactive outbound outreach—no waiting on inbound leads
- Use a structured territory development plan to identify ICPs, target accounts, and warm up buyers
- Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo/solutioning, objection handling, proposal, and close
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, channel partners, and marketing to drive deal velocity
- Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline hygiene in our CRM (yes, we use Sugar!)
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, demonstrating ROI and building strong relationships at multiple levels within accounts
What you will bring:
- Minimum 8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent record of outperforming quota
- Proven hunter mindset—you thrive on outbound, building pipeline from scratch, and owning a territory
- Experience closing deals with C-level and VP+ buyers
- Skilled in managing mid-market and enterprise opportunities in the $75K–$500K ARR+ range
- Expertise in running complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with cross-functional buying groups
- Background selling CRM, SFA, ERP, or Marketing Automation solutions is highly valued
- Industry knowledge of Manufacturing, Wholesale, or Distribution is a strong plus
- Comfortable with strategic prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft/Outreach)
- Strong communication skills—clear, persuasive, and tailored to executive buyers
- Highly organized, self-directed, and motivated by a high-performance culture
