Department Summary
Surpassing network limitations of the past, our Wireless Deployment organization is building the country's first cloud-native, standalone 5G wireless network. Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless seeks a Sourcing Manager to lead competitive sourcing of goods and services. This role involves collaborating with department leaders, negotiating, prioritizing, and managing initiatives throughout the Supply Chain. Responsibilities include overseeing Contract Management, New Product Introduction, Purchasing, Category Management, and Data Analytics. The incumbent will play a key role in supporting Strategic Sourcing efforts to build the 5G wireless network and establish corporate procurement standards and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and competitively source a variety of categories such as goods, software, and services, managing RFx and supplier contracts to meet business needs
- Negotiate contracts for maximum value, identifying cost-saving opportunities with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Develop and implement contract management strategy at an enterprise level
- Leverage existing policies and procedures and/or set-up contract administration policies and procedures for effective contract lifecycle management
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to source products effectively and support internal customers
- Manage vendor relationships and develop strategies to create value for DISH Wireless
- Oversee end-to-end purchasing process, including goal development, budgeting, requisition creation, and vendor management
- Address complex issues, evaluating various factors to create solutions
- Develop and enforce procurement policies at DISH Wireless, ensuring ethical business transactions and compliance with regulations like Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Some travel may be required
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and business analysis
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in the Wireless industry preferred
- Knowledgeable in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing principles and practices
- Demonstrated success in driving procurement savings and building cross-functional partnerships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), database management, and Google Suite
- Ability to independently conduct studies, analyze data, and make recommendations on complex projects
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
