Engineering at Cloud Elements

This role is an exciting, challenging, and dynamic position that will empower you to work on core product development and customer solutions.  You will be encouraged to use your creative problem solving, resourcefulness, and coding mastery to build leading edge SaaS applications!

You will be working out of either our headquarters in Denver, CO or our office in Dallas, TX.

About this role:

• Design integrations and implement use cases against a variety of enterprise class systems and ERP's

• Analyze complex APIs across multiple software vendor platforms to determine how to best meet the needs of our integration customers

• Work with domain experts in enterprise systems like SAP and Oracle

• Clearly articulate designs, workflows and concepts in a fast paced business environment

• Be able to work with multiple technologies simultaneously such as Java, JavaScript, .net, Soap, REST, RPC, RDBMS, NoSQL and work with firewall and network security issues and authentication / authorization.

• Translate Customer Business Use Cases to Element API requirements

• Co-ordinate work with Offshore and Onshore Engineers

• Provide Mentorship to junior Engineers.

What we are looking for:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical program

• 10+ years of software development/software architecture experience

• Deep experience with API integrations

• Experience in large scale Enterprise Integrations (required)

• Required - JSON, Subversion or Git, Tomcat (or other Java application server)

• Working knowledge of a broad range of programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java, .Net(C#), Node)

• Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX, Mac) and databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL)

• Conversant in API lingo. REST, SOAP, Swagger, OAI etc

• Preferred experience in API gateways

• Experience with various cloud based authentication mechanisms

• Ability to Mentor, coach and work with offshore and onshore team
