Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, self-starter who drives innovation that excites our customers. As a Software Developer II, you will work in a team of 4-5 developers plus quality assurance members, supported by a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development Director.

Responsibilities

·        Maintain and develop application functionality on an Emergency Medical Services Patient Care Report system on iOS and Android platforms.

·        Actively participate in daily/weekly Scrum Ceremonies

·        Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible, and meets production requirements and design specifications while anticipating potential errors/issues

·        Write up release notes, stories, definitions to ensure a smooth transition to developers both on and offshore, QA, and product teams.

·        Ensure code is successfully merged into production providing well documented and clear communication

·        Fix bugs and add tests to ensure we never fix the same bug twice

·        Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure optimal operation

·        Stay up to date on the latest technical developments and tools each mobile platform has to offer

Qualifications

Required

·        2+ years of mobile software development experience in a Scrum/Agile environment

·        Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or completed certificate program.

·        Concise, clear, and open communicator and collaborator

·        Experience using the following tools and technology:

            o   AngularJS

            o   Ionic, Cordova and/or Capacitor

            o   Experience with CouchDB or another similar NoSQL database

            o   Relational database systems, preferably Oracle, and SQL

            o   Code debugging and QA testing utilizing tools such as the built-in browser debuggers, Wireshark, Fiddler, etc.

            o   Code versioning tools like Team Foundation Server (TFS), git

Preferred:

·        Experience in the EMS, Fire, Healthcare industry

·        Experience using the following tools and technology:

           o   Vue.js

           o   .NET, WPF, XAML

           o   AWS Developer or Architect Certification

           o   Appium, Ranorex or other automated testing tools and unit testing experience

           o   TeamCity or other CI/CD experience

           o   Atlassian products including JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
